Celtic Target ‘On The Verge’ Of Completing Serie A Move

Reported Celtic target Piero Hincapie is ‘on the verge’ of completing a move to Serie A side Lazio.

The Ecuadorian defender has been a standout for his nation at this summers Copa America and was surprisingly linked with a move to Celtic (Read More) and many other clubs across Europe.

However, as reported by the Daily Record, the 19-year old is set to complete a move to the Italian side Lazio, who won the race for the talented youngster.

As previously mentioned, it was a surprise to see that Celtic was tracking the interest of the South American who currently plays his football in Argentina, especially with the proposed fee being around £8 million.

Some might perceive it as a positive, with it looking like the club are proactive in the chase for a new central defender.

It looks like we will be getting our hands on another talented defensive option, though, with rumours linking Mario Vuskovic with a move to Parkhead, and that appears to be getting closer if the reports are to be believed.
