Mathias Kvistgaarden has been called up to the Denmark national team for the first time, with manager Brian Riemer praising him for causing constant problems for defenders.

Riemer said: (TCW) “He could’ve been picked earlier, but injuries held him back. He’s been in top form lately. He always gives defenders a hard time. He chases every chance, even the unlikely ones.”
Celtic goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel and ex-Hoops star Matt O’Riley are both in the Denmark squad and could help persuade Kvistgaarden to move to Glasgow.

But Celtic face strong competition. German side Eintracht Frankfurt are also interested and have money to spend after selling striker Omar Marmoush to Manchester City.
Kvistgaarden would boost Celtic’s options up top, which currently includes Daizen Maeda, Adam Idah, and Johnny Kenny.
With the transfer window opening soon, Celtic may need to move fast if they want to beat Frankfurt to his signature.
