Much has been made over the past 24 hours of Celtic’s interest in Dominic Solanke.

Reports suggest that the club have already held talks with the players representatives about a move north of the border which has got some Celtic fans very excited.

Described as a natural goalscorer and one of the best talents in the Chelsea youth setup right now it’s hard not to be.

Celtic are certainly building up a reputation of being able to nurture young talent and Dominic could join Moussa Dembele who has seen his stock rise and rise after his move to Glasgow.

Dominic’s former teammate Ferdi Vierklau from Vitesse was full of praise for the 19-year old and likened him to Manchester United player Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

“He’s clinical. Sometimes, with the most impossible balls he knows how to do something beautiful from nothing – in that way, he is reminiscent of Zlatan Ibrahimovic.” said Ferdi
