Celtic Target Has Night to Forget

Over the last week, there has been talk that Celtic have become interested in making a move for Burnley and Republic of Ireland internationalist Robbie Brady on a pre-contract deal for next season.

However, going off his performance last night for the Premier League side in their draw with Fulham it may turn a few people’s heads in the opposite direction.

The 25-year old was introduced to the game five minutes before half-time and was on the end of being substituted back off just 25 minutes later.

Add to that, Brady picked up a yellow card and could have arguably been given another caution which would see his side go down to 10 men plus he failed to clear the ball off the line which resulted in Fulham levelling up the score at 1-1.

It certainly was a night to forget for Robbie Brady.

That being said, I am sure this one performance won’t be the deciding factor if the club continues to make a move for the winger.

However, what should be a factor is the fact we should probably be looking to do better. Brady is also coming to the twilight years of his career, especially for a player playing in his position.
