Celtic and Peter Lawwell were part of talks on Friday with the Scottish government trying to pave a road back to football being played.

The talks were very successful with the ban on the game being lifted by mid-June. Next season is provisionally booked to start on schedule away from the paying public.

While the games might be able to resume, we’re still a long way off supporters being allowed into grounds. It’s a step in the right direction!

BBC reporter @Kheredine has told his followers this evening, Celtic and Ross County have become the first two clubs to bring in testing apparatus that will be able to test 15 players an hour going into the new season.

This was a club expense and something all clubs will have to get on board with if we are to start the game safe in August.
