Celtic Suffer Fresh Injury Blow in Dubai

Celtic have suffered an injury setback in Dubai as the bhoys are put through their paces.

It had initially been a good news week for injuries with several players back on the grass after weeks out of action.

One of those players was Hatem Elhamed who looked to be over a groin strain which kept him out of the team since the Lazio win.

However, Neil Lennon confirmed to SunSport the player has suffered a set back and will now miss more time out of action as a result.

“Elhamed still has a bit of a groin problem.

“It’s not long term, but it could be a few weeks.

“He sort of jolted his groin and got a reaction.

“It’s actually not the same injury, it’s lower down and will maybe mean a couple of weeks.

“He’s been brilliant for me and it’s a bit of a blow, but there’s nothing I can do about it. We have to be patient with it.”
