Celtic Striker Mystery Cleared Up

JOHNNY KENNY signed fort Celtic in January and he was the fourth player to do so.

However, since his arrival he has not featured for the B side or the first team, in fact, he has not had a training session yet.

Appearing on the Sligo Way Podcast on Monday evening, the 18-year-old revealed he is out injured for the next few weeks and is just out of 10-day isolation after being identified as a close contact.

This means hoops fans will have to wait a little bit longer before they can see their new man in action.

Celtic would find it beneficial to have an extra striker around over the next couple of weeks. With injuries and international call-ups, Celtic has just one first-team striker available and even he has had a tough time injury-wise.

The Irish talent is definitely one for the future after playing his first season as a professional and impressing many scouts, from Scotland and England.
