Celtic striker Anthony Stokes has been fined by Celtic this week after he arrived late back from a trip to Dublin last weekend.
The Irishman regularly travels back to Ireland from Glasgow but this time he has fallen foul of the disciplinary code at Celtic by returning late.
Rumours had circulated earlier this week that Stokes would be subject to a disciplinary hearing and that has turned out to be the case. In the grand scheme of things it is a relatively small issue which the Celtic manager confirmed at a press conference.
“We are dealing with it internally. It’s a small thing.” said Deila.
The Norwegian was also keen to stress that the player could play a part in Sunday’s game against Hamilton at Celtic Park.
