Celtic Striker Edging Towards Permanent Parkhead Exit – Reports

Celtic could be set to clear the deck, ready to bring in a new striker in the coming weeks with The Herald reporting current Celtic frontman Vakoun Bayo is on his way out of Celtic on a permanent basis.

There has been talk of a loan move to St Mirren but now it has transpired, French side, Toulouse have entered the race to sign the Ivory Coast under 23.

If this is the case, it would free up wages and give Celtic some sort of fee to put to use elsewhere.

The club have been actively looking for another striker with Albian Ajeti and Ivan Toney being heavily linked with a move to Celtic.

It’s unknown yet how serious the French side are about taking Bayo from Scotland to France but as it stands, the player has no future at the club.

The bhoys started off their SPFL campaign this week with a thumping victory over Hamilton, where Eddy landed a hat-trick and Patryk Klimala got in on the act.
