Celtic Staying Quiet But Will be Forced to Show Their Hand Over Next 24 hours

CELTIC have been pretty quiet on the social media front since the disastrous result on Tuesday night against Cluj. The anger and upset on show from the Celtic support meant the club has kept a low profile while fans pick over the bones of another Euro exit.

The 4-3 defeat to Cluj was preventable on the night and that’s why it’s the bitterest pill to swallow.

One thing Celtic did tweet out yesterday is the fixture date for their Europa league play-off tie which will happen August 22. Other than that, the club have stayed quiet.

We wrote yesterday many Celtic fans have urged the club to do the right thing by supporters and put the Europa League game on the season ticket as a bonus.

However, the club have remained silent and they have the perfect excuse to lie low with Celtic’s opponents not being completely confirmed until Thursday evening.

After tonight, when either AIK or Sheriff take their place in the play-off alongside Celtic that the club will be forced to show their hand to supporters.

If ticket prices are upwards of £20 for the Europa tie, there is most likely going to be a backlash. Never has a ticket price been so significant, the animosity towards the board is there at the moment. Charging over the odds after Cluj last week would be insane, they wouldn’t, would they?
