AFTER a lengthy draw that seemed neverending, Celtic stars have learned who they will face in the World Cup Group Stages in November.
The competition is set to occur in Qatar this year, but Scottish internationalists are still to secure their place in the competition. The country is set to face Ukraine in June. If they win this, the Scots will square up against Wales, with the winner booking flights to the Middle East.

On the topic of Scotland, if Stevie Clarke’s men progress through their next two games, David Turnbull, Greg Taylor and Callum McGregor will play against England, USA and Iran in the competition’s group B.
Josip Juranovic of Croatia has been drawn in Group F, alongside Belgium, Canada and Morocco.
The Japanese Bhoys have been drawn against Spain, Germany, and New Zealand v Costa Rica winners. Hatate made his first Japan appearance after securing World Cup qualification, with Kyogo and Daizen Maeda already playing for their country. With Kyogo back, it’ll be interesting to see if the pair are called up or just now of them. It’s unlikely Ideguchi will be at the World Cup. Group E is going to be a tight one.
If Matt O’Riley is called up for the Denmark senior squad, he could face Celtic teammate Tom Rogic. Denmark has been drawn with France and Tunisia. The last team that’ll make up the group will be Peru, UAE or Australia.
It’s going to be great watching our Bhoys representing their country at a World Cup. With Ange likely to bring in more players in the summer, Celtic could be seeing more of their squad jet off to Qatar. The rest have something else to look forward to – Ange Postecoglou’s Homecoming Tour.
