Celtic star Kyogo Furuhashi suffered late heartbreak with his international side as Japan were defeated 1-0 against Oman.
The Japanese national side was looking to kick off their World Cup qualifying campaign with a good result, but unfortunately, it finished in a shock defeat.

The Celtic frontman started on the bench but was brought on at half-time as the home side looked to open the scoring.

However, it wasn’t to be with Oman scoring a late winner in the 88th minute to take home all three points.
Furuhashi has got off to a brilliant start to life in Glasgow, scoring seven goals in his first nine appearances for the club.
Fans have also taken to the 26-year old, who is becoming a Parkhead favourite for his goalscoring ability and personality off the field.
It is always good to see Celtic players go away with their international team and put in a positive performance. Hopefully, Furuhashi and Japan can bounce back quickly in their next game against China on Tuesday.
