THE English Premier League window is closed and many have breathed a sigh of relief but we can’t quite exhale just yet – especially when we have so many top attacking players who are coveted by other clubs.

One report has popped up on SunSport as an exclusive today (take that with a pinch of salt) – James Forrest interesting Russian side Zenit St Petersburg.

The cynical among us will believe we’re just getting foreign clubs attached to our players now because the media can’t link English clubs.

However, it is reported that James Forrest is in line for a bumper £70,000pw deal with Zenit should they have an offer accepted from Celtic.

James Forrest has already spoken about staying at Parkhead for the rest of his career and Neil Lennon sees the player as vital.

Forrest, 28, is coming into his peak years and the fans will not want to see him go or fade away into obscurity in the Russian League.
