CELTIC have today confirmed James Forrest has signed a new deal with the club which will take the midfielder through to a testimonial.
The tricky winger was in inspired form last season and kept Patrick Roberts out the team when the Englishman was fit.
Forrest was coming into the last 6 months of his deal in January and there was a certain amount of speculation around the lads future.
The double treble winner has put all that speculation to bed by signing a new long term deal.
The attacking midfielder has always had his critics and has frustrated the support somewhat over the years because we know how could he can be at times.
✍️ #CelticFC is delighted to announce that James Forrest has signed a new 4-year contract, keeping him at the club until 2022.
