Celtic star David Turnbull is rumoured to have got the call that will see him join his country at this summer’s Euros.
The Scotland squad will be released later today but it’s already being reported by SunSport David has made it – even though he’s spent the entirety of the campaign as an under 21.
It’s not been a good season at all for the hoops but David has been a bright spark. The midfielder didn’t really get the chance until nearly half way through the campaign but he’s managed the step up.
There are big hopes for David next term but he could make an impact at the Euros before then.
Fingers crossed he has made the team and he joins up with Callum McGregor and James Forrest. There’s no word yet if Leigh Griffiths will make the cut. The striker hasn’t had much game time with Celtic this season and he could be left behind.
