KRISTOFFER AJER sent a message to the Celtic support after their 1-0 defeat to Valencia.

He thanked each and every single person who made the trip out to Spain to follow the bhoys on their Euro journey.

Ajer was one of the standouts for Celtic as the bhoys won back some pride in Europe.

The defender was ever present and could have turned goal hero each side of half time with an effort blocked and a free header he’ll be kicking himself about.

Even though the bhoys went down to ten men they showed a lot of heart and determination not to be turned over in an exhausting second half.

The fans thanked the players by staying behind in the Mastella and singing the night away and Ajer took to his Instagram to thank them for their unwavering support on the night.

It’s back to domestic duty now for the bhoys on Sunday and will Ajer now keep his place?
