Celtic Star Reveals Lennoxtown Reaction After Ibrox Result

Mohamed Elyounoussi helped Celtic to a 6-0 victory against Ross County on Saturday but the player had no idea when he came into work on Monday Celtic were top of the league.

Speaking to the Celtic View (Volume 55, Issue 16,) – the on loan Southampton midfielder said he knew the Ibrox side we’re playing after Celtic at the weekend but hadn’t checked in on the result from Tynecastle.

It was only when he got onto the training field at Lennoxtown he discovered from some of his teammates that Steven Gerrard’s men has choked at the top and dropped two point in Edinburgh.

“I only heard that we were back on top when I came into training on Monday. I knew Rangers were playing after us but I didn’t know the outcome until it was mentioned in training.

“There’s a very long way to go in the season. But having Rangers behind us in important, regardless of what point of the season we are at. It left us all feeling very positive. The team spirit is good, confidence is really high and now we’re looking forward to the two big games we have this week.”

Mohamed has been brilliant since coming into the club. Goals are starting to come and his obvious talent is shining through. He will be a big player tonight for Celtic against Lazio.

Between Mohamed Elyounoussi, Odsonne Edouard, James Forrest and Ryan Christie – you have to believe there’s goals in that side this evening.
