SCOTT BROWN posted a message to the Celtic support after he signed a new two-year deal with the club today explaining how grateful he was to have another two years at the club.

The Celtic captain has achieved legendary status at the club during the last 12 years and when it looked like he was heading out the door for a big payday in a warmer climate, the midfielder turned it down to stay at Parkhead.

Brown now has a chance to help Celtic towards their ultimate goal of ten in a row and it must have been at the forefront of his thinking when he made his decision.

The player took to Instagram last night to express an emotional message to the support as Celtic get prepared to fight on three fronts in the second half of the season.

Celtic will be in action with SPFL, Europa league and Scottish Cup duty from now until the end of the season and having Scott Brown help spearhead the assault in all competitions could be vital.
