The American and PSG star is currently only on loan until the end of the season where he is due to head back to France to continue his development. The Midfielder burst onto the scene under Brendan Rodgers after his January move but has cooled off since the Irishman’s departure and management upheaval that has brought to the club.
Weah is yet to start a game under Neil Lennon and he’s likely going to have to make do with a place on the bench for the upcoming Glasgow Derby. After that, if Neil Lennon sees value in playing the American a lot more before the season is out then there could be movement on getting the player in for another Lon spell next term. As it stands at present, PSG would be unlikely to give the go ahead if he’s warming the bench.
