CHRISTOPHER JULLIEN is only a few months into his Celtic career but the player is already dreaming of winning European silverware.
The Frenchman has started to settle in well at centre back and has helped the club to a few clean sheets. He now turns his attention to Rennes on Thursday, a foe he will be aware of with his time in the French League.
The Celtic star played against Rennes twice last season playing out a 1-1 and 2-2 draw in both games.
Jullien is very enthusiastic and when he was asked if he thinks Celtic can win the Europa League he didn’t hang back.
“Yes, I believe we can, absolutely.” he told SunSport.
“Since I arrived here I have seen that all the players constantly have trophies on their minds.
“They want to win at everything, even in training, and this is important for our team.”
Celtic have a tough group to get out of and it’s worth noting the club have never got past the last 32 of the Europa League format since it changed from the UEFA cup.
It’s the correct mentality from the player, why not aim high and see where you land.
