JOSIP JURANOVIC arrived at Celtic in the summer to slot into the right-back role.
The whole Celtic support had written Anthony Ralston off and even said his run of surprising good form would come to an end once the Croatian international arrived at Celtic.
However, Ralston has been one of Celtic’s players this season and has forced Juranovic to play in an unnatural position. Albeit at left-back, Juranovic has become a regular starter at Celtic and is certainly an exciting player.

The Croatian is keen to go further up the pitch and help the attack, but he has also shown the other side to his game, defending in his half, the player has shown he is defensively sound too.
Speaking from his national side’s camp, Josip has revealed how he has settled into life in Glasgow;
“I went to Celtic at the right time and everything worked out for me. I went from Legia to a big club and I am happy with Celtic.”
Interestingly, Juranovic and international teammate Borna Barasic have only met once despite being in the same city. He also revealed he’s been heckled by Ibrox fans who recognise him.
“I’ve been with Borna once since I came. People recognise me, but when Rangers fans see me, they start shouting “Glasgow Rangers”. But it’s all football.”
