JOTA has been named in the SPFL’s team of the week, registering a goal and assisting in Dingwall. The Portuguese winger could have had a handful of assists if the team were more clinical in the first half.

Fans were becoming frustrated at the player that joined Celtic on a loan deal in the summer. His attacking output wasn’t at the high standard he had set for himself. However, the player refound his flair in the highlands and demonstrated why he has Benfica trying to ensure his future lies in Portugal.
Jota had been unable to find the back of the net since his brace at Pittodrie. However, he had provided five goals before hitting in Celtic’s insurance goal on Sunday.
The big question now is will he stay at Celtic beyond this summer. Only Jota knows the answer to this question, and he was asked about this on Sunday but failed to give a defining answer.
Celtic will be more than willing to pay the fee for the winger, who’s performed well in Scotland and in Europe. It’s all in the player’s hands now.
