Aaron Mooy joined Celtic on a free transfer last summer and although many had doubts about him in the beginning, the Australian eventually won supporters over.
In midfield, the veteran contributed significantly, bagging seven goals and assisting eleven.
He ended up being one of the Hoops’ foremost arrivals last summer but is now reportedly considering his future.
According to FTBL, Mooy is thinking things over with new manager Brendan Rodgers in place.
He currently has one year left on his Parkhead deal but refused to clarify whether or not he will see it out.

Retirement could be nigh for Mooy and he did sit out Celtic’s final five games of the 2022/23 season through injury.
Nevertheless, it was not expected to be anything serious.
It is certain all Celtic fans would encourage Mooy not to retire but at the end of the day, it is his career and life.
His absence would be a significant loss to the club going forward after what he contributed in 2022/23 but nothing is confirmed as of yet.
