Celtic Star Caught in National Team Virus Outbreak

GREG TAYLOR is one of the players in the Scotland camp to come down with a sickness bug ahead of his country’s important tie against Ukraine on Tuesday night.

The Daily Record reports that the Celtic left-back is one of the five players to pick up the virus, with it casting doubt on his availability for the game in Warsaw.

Taylor was set to start the match in Poland, with Robertson and Tierney ruled out with injury and not in the squad; however, it looks like he’ll miss the match.

A sickness bug is a terrible thing to have, and there’s no way a player could play a match with the virus. Greg Taylor will likely need a few days to recover from the illness, which could see him miss Saturday.

Hopefully, he can get over it swiftly and return to Lennoxtown feeling better. If not, Alexandro Bernabei will be handed a chance to impress and a second Celtic start.
