Celtic star Tom Rogic has been sidelined for MONTHS after the Celtic manager revealed the Australian had gone over on the same ankle problem that has kept him out the last month and a half.
Rogic, who has been a revelation this season was hoping to be back as soon as the end of the month before this unfortunate injury occurred.
The midfielder has now had the operation but the Celtic boss is facing the reality of not having the attacking minded midfielder to call upon for some big games coming up.
Celtic fans have ran out of superlatives for the midfielder who has taken his chance under Rodgers to become a regular in the team. Hopefully he can overcome this new injury and get back playing before the end of the season.
