Celtic SPFL Transfer Back On

It had been reported that Dylan Reid turned down a move to Celtic back in July but it now looks as though the midfielders deal to the Scottish Champions could be back on.

Celtic reportedly made a bid of £125,000 for Reid with the club accepting the bid for the 17-year old star.

However, Reid decided to turn the move down to remain at the Paisley side and try to break into the St Mirren first team as a regular.

It has been revealed by Football Scotland that Celtic are still interested in the player and have made another pursuit to try and bring the youngster to the club.

The deadline for transfers is this Thursday evening with a deal having to be completed in the coming days.

Celtic will remain active in the window and Reid could be a welcome addition to the club with it possible that he could go straight into the B team squad which is led by former Celts Stephen McManus and Darren O’Dea.

Dylan Reid did not feature in the Buddies squad at the weekend in their victory over Hibs with clubs in England also said to be interested in the midfielder.

This could yet be another busy week for Celtic with there still being potential for outgoing players.
