Celtic Sign Kundai Benyu

As we reported on this morning, Celtic has tied up a deal for young midfielder Kunda Benyu who becomes Brendan Rodgers second signing of the summer.

OFFICIAL CLUB STATEMENT

Kundai Benyu has agreed a four-year contract with #CelticFC. He will join the Club from July 1st.

This signing is more of a project for Brendan Rodgers than a straight starter for the first team. Benyu opted not to sign a new deal with Ipswich and instead join the Scottish Champions.

A host of Premier League and Championship clubs had been keeping tabs on the youngster but Celtic got the jump on all of them.

He will now meet up with Celtic at their Austrian training camp.
