The need for a new goalkeeper at Celtic is becoming increasingly apparent as Joe Hart nears the end of his contract and approaches his 37th birthday. Hart is nearing a point where stepping down from the number one spot seems a prudent decision.

Czech media outlet iSPORT reports that Celtic are interested in Hladky.

Hladky, 33, will soon be free to negotiate pre-contract agreements.

Celtic has been linked with a few goalkeepers as they plan for Hart’s potential retirement or departure from Celtic Park, showing the scouting team are identifying targets. Names like Andriy Lunin of Real Madrid and Kilmarnock’s loan star Will Dennis have been mentioned.
