Celtic Set to Land Major Transfer Bargain – Report

Sead Haksabanovic is set to seal a move to Celtic with the forward player having already arrived in Glasgow.

Ange Postecoglou spoke about wanting to add players to his squad that were versatile and could play more than one position which the 23-year old certainly can.

He can play on both wings or as an attacking midfielder which gives Postecoglou plenty of options.

It looks as though Celtic are set to land a cut-price deal for the Montenegrin international.

It has been reported today that the Hoops are set to land the former West Ham man for a sum of around €2 million [Sport Business Gazeta].

Haksabanovic only made the switch to Rubin Kazan last summer for a fee of around €6.5 million but due to sanctions place on the Russian club they are badly needing to recoup money with the forward player wanting a move away from the club.

This could be described as a transfer coup for the Scottish champions with the player set to become Ange Postecoglou’s eighth summer signing.

Kazan are set to lose out on some cash with players leaving for free meaning that it was important to receive some fee. They did of course work with Celtic last summer on the transfer of Carl Starfelt.
