NEIL LENNON has made it very clear Celtic will be defending their striker in the charge against simulation levied by the SFA this week.
Albian Ajeti has been given a charge and offered a two-match ban by the governing body for allegedly taking a dive to win a penalty against Kilmarnock on Tuesday evening.
We got wind on Thursday evening Celtic were planning on appealing and Neil Lennon’s comments today not only confirm it but make it clear they think the charge is a joke.
.@CelticFC boss Neil Lennon on appeal of simulation charge against Ajeti: "I don't understand why these charges have been brought up against Albian, we don't agree with it at all so we will be appealing it"

Ajeti came back into the side and had a great second half to boost his confidence.
Had Celtic accepted this charge he would’ve missed the next two games and any momentum he was looking to gain. Was it a soft penalty? Yes. Can the SFA say with confidence it was a dive? Absolutely not.
That’s why we expect Celtic to defend the player’s position and ultimately get this case thrown out.
