Get French Football are reporting Celtic are set to make a formal approach for towering Toulouse centre back Cristopher Jullien.
Celtic have been linked with a move for the player over the past two weeks but some have put the move down as a no go because of Toulouse’s reported asking price of around €8m.
This may not have deterred Celtic from testing the French club’s resolve as they look to add quality to their back line before the season begins.
Celtic are going to make an opening bid for Toulouse defender Christopher Jullien, even though the Frenchman has not decided yet if he would want to move there, according to La Dépêche du Midi.

Jullien, 26, would be considered quite the coup for the Scottish Champions if they were to land the player.
A deal seems a long way off but Neil Lennon did confirm he expects deals to be done over the next month – is one of them Jullien?
