RecordSport are claiming they’ve been made privy to information regarding Celtic’s new season ticket renewal campaign for the potential historic ten in a row push.
The newspaper believe it’s good news for the support and are reporting there is no major hikes in season ticket prices and only small rises due to inflation.
‘Record Sport understands season-ticket renewals are set to be announced today and the price will only involve a minimal inflationary rise.
‘The Hoops will resist the temptation of cashing in despite the possibility of going for a record 10th title on the trot.’
According to the Record, Celtic currently have over 50k season ticket holders with 5k on the waiting list. The club only sell a certain amount of season tickets before they leave the rest for general sale purposes on match day.
It’s going to be the hottest ticket in town and if you’re already a season ticket holder there’s more than a chance you’ll be looking to hold onto that status while anyone on the waiting lists crosses their fingers.
Celtic still need to get nine over the line and nothing should be taken for granted.
The season ticket information could be out as early as today. Let’s hope the news is correct.
