CELTIC could be ready to challenge UEFA after the disciplinary committee banned Jozo Simunovic for a further match for seeing red against Alashkert according to the Herald.
The club are unsure as to why the player was dealt this extra ban and are not privy to the full explanation at this point.
Once the club review UEFAS reasoning they will decide whether to appeal Jozo’s new ban.
If the club do register an appeal then it will likely mean Jozo would be free to play in the second leg of the Rosenborg tie.
It seeems very harsh by the disciplinary committee and Celtic officials feel the initial punishment was enough.
