Celtic’s midfield reshuffle continues as they pivot back to targeting Alvyn Sanches following the collapse of their potential deal with LAFC’s Mateusz Bogusz.

Sanches, a 21-year-old midfielder from Lausanne-Sport, has re-emerged as a significant prospect for Celtic after initial interest during the start of the summer transfer window.

Football Scotland says that Celtic are prepared to activate their interest in Sanches, leveraging part of the substantial funds generated from Matt O’Riley’s recent departure to Brighton. S

Sanches, rated highly by manager Brendan Rodgers, is seen as a player with significant potential to impact the current squad and develop further under Celtic’s guidance.

There are under 50 hours left of the transfer window for Celtic to try and strike a deal to bring the midfielder to Glasgow this summer.

Sanches would be one of two midfielders that Brendan Rodgers is looking to bring to the club this summer. It looks as if Arne Engles could be the other joining the Swiss at Parkhead this summer.
