Celtic Return – Neil Lennon Signs Former Scout After Rodgers Raid

NEIL LENNON has acted swiftly to fill the gap left by the departing Jack Lyons after the tactics man who was brought into Celtic by Brendan Rodgers decided to join him at Leicester.

Lyons would scout Celtic’s future opponents and give Rodgers the low down on their strengths and weaknesses and how he could best go about defeating them.

With Lyon’s gone from the role, Neil Lennon has brought former Celtic scout Peter Houston back into the fold at Celtic Park and he will pick up where he left off under Lennon the first time according to SunSport.

Peter has had spells as manager of Falkirk and Dundee Utd and he’s the current number two in the Scotland under 21 setup.

Celtic will need Peter to get to work quickly on Cluj and Maccabi Tel-Aviv with the club finding out this week who they’ll be facing at the start of August for a place in the playoff round.
