Celtic Responsible For ‘Largest Ever UEFA Sum’ Paid to SPFL Clubs

CELTIC’S participation in the Champions League has meant that all other SPFL clubs are set to receive the largest ever payout from the UEFA Solidarity fund.

A record amount of £4million will be handed over to the SPFL clubs tomorrow with each receiving around £370,000 each for doing absolutely nothing.

Not bad work if you can get it.

Celtic are flying the flag for Scottish clubs in Europe once again as they are the only participants in European football from the SPFL with all other sides failing in qualifiers.

This will be a welcome financial boost to every club in the league and we’re sure they will be quick to thank Celtic for making it possible.

Celtic continue their Champions League adventure against Bayern Munich later this evening.
