Celtic’s European connections were on display at Villa Park on Tuesday night, as scarves from Glasgow’s east end were spotted in the away end during Paris Saint-Germain’s Champions League clash with Aston Villa.
The BHOYS CELTIC fan group, who have ties with the PSG ultras, showed their solidarity in Birmingham, bringing a splash of green and white into the French contingent during what was an enthralling second-leg encounter.

Villa came into the night trailing 3-1 and looked out of it when goals from Achraf Hakimi and Nuno Mendes put PSG firmly in control. But Unai Emery’s side rallied in stunning fashion, with Youri Tielemans pulling one back before a pulsating second half had Villa fans daring to dream.
Quickfire strikes from John McGinn and Ezri Konsa put Villa ahead on the night and within one goal of levelling the tie. However, Gianluigi Donnarumma’s heroics denied the English side a famous comeback, with the Italian keeper pulling off three critical saves to ensure PSG’s progression.

The French giants now advance to face either Arsenal or Real Madrid in the semi-finals, with Arsenal 3-0 up heading into the second leg, with Celtic colours briefly lighting up the away section on a night packed with drama and European flair.
