AFTER CELTIC won the league at Tannadice on Wednesday night, the team were welcomed back to Celtic Park by the jubilant support.

The players stood in front of the main stand as fireworks went off overhead.

Many players filmed the celebrations and uploaded them to their social media.

Ange greeted the supporters after the team arrived back at Parkhead in the early hours of the morning and gave them a special message.

“I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the support that you’ve given, to me, the players and everyone else.

“Enjoy tonight, we’ll come back Saturday and we’ll enjoy it again.

“Thanks very much and I’ll see you on Saturday. ”

It’s a terrific achievement by Ange and his players. They’ve completed what people thought was impossible. They deserved the moment to celebrate like that with the fans.

The real party is on Saturday, with the trophy to be lifted and paraded around Celtic Park, with many fans organising plans to celebrate well into the night.

It’s been a great season; it’s frustrating that it’ll all be over soon. Celtic fans will be lost in the summer with no football to watch. At least they can be happy with the successful season they’ve had.
