Celtic have denied the admission of away fans to Paradise this Saturday.
Paisley side St Mirren join other Scottish teams such as Dundee and Hearts to play in front of a nearly full stadium with no travelling fans.
Celtic have some areas of the stadium closed to follow COVID protocols, these meaning season ticket holders are being relocated elsewhere. Therefore, Celtic are prioritising their fans and not away fans.
The game will not be shown on TV, as it is a 3 pm Saturday kick-off, and Celtic will not offer a pay-per-view option.
Leaving fans of both sides unable to watch the game legally if they are unable to attend.
Some fans expressed their opinion on Celtic’s decision on social media. St Mirren fans we spoke to are also upset they’re locked out of the game.
I can just about accept not being able to buy a ticket for this, but I’d love to hear the reasoning behind not offering a PPV stream when the stadium is operating at its current full capacity.
Spare me your Hesgoal and IPTV chat btw, you’d be 100% missing the point. https://t.co/XglprQL86p

Fans outside of the UK and Ireland can watch the fixture live on Celtic TV, as Ange Postecoglou and his team will have the chance to extend their lead over theRangers, albeit just for one day.
It’s an unfortunate situation and hopefully away fans are allowed back in sooner rather than later.
