Celtic have received a potential transfer boost with news that the asking price for Alvyn Sanches has been reduced.

Previously, the midfielder from FC Lausanne-Sport was valued at £4.3 million, Sanches could now be available for just £3 million. The Swiss Under-21 international has been a target for Celtic, who have closely monitored his performances throughout 2024, dispatching scouts to assess him in action.
He was first linked to Celtic at the start of the summer transfer window.
According to The Express, Sanches is keen on a move to Scotland, so it appears that agreeing on personal terms with Sanches would not pose a significant hurdle.
Although no official bid has been placed yet, discussions have reportedly continued among all involved parties.
This development could prompt Celtic to make a formal offer soon, as they consider adding Sanches to their squad to bolster their midfield options, with Matt O’Riley expected to leave the Hoops this summer.
However, it’s not clear whether Sanches would come in as a development player or straight into the starting team.
