CELTIC defender Cameron Carter-Vickers is set to be fit and ready for the start of the club’s Premiership title defence.
The USA international’s season was prematurely ended following a standout performance at Hampden in the Scottish Cup Final victory over Rangers.
This triumph, which paved the way for a clash with Inverness CT, provided the opportunity for Carter-Vickers to undergo necessary knee surgery, but there was a risk that he could miss the start of next season.
Fortunately, the operation was successful, and Carter-Vickers is expected to be in prime condition for the start of the new season.
This positive news was confirmed by Larry Henry Jnr, editor of US media outlet SBI Soccer, who stated that Carter-Vickers will be ready to defend the title.
