Celtic Receive Easter Road Ticket Allocation

It has been revealed today that Celtic will receive an allocation of 3,616 tickets for the away match to Hibernian on December, 28 [@CelticFCTickets].

Easter Road has been a venue which the Hoops have struggled at in recent years but thankfully last season they got rid of the hoodoo which had haunted them having not won there in the league in seven years.

Ange Postecoglou’s side dismantled Hibs after a tremendous first half performance last October but could only manage a draw in the following game through in Leith.

Many walked away in February thinking Celtic had missed a chance to extend their lead at the top of the table but Rangers couldn’t capitalise on the dropped points as they also drew against Motherwell.

Both sides have already faced each other once this season as the Hoops tore Lee Johnson’s side apart at Celtic Park in a 6-1 mauling. The Hibees defenders are still likely having nightmares about James Forrest who scored a terrific hat-trick to secure his 100th goal for the club.

The Celtic fans can always make a good bit of noise at Easter Road with the whole of the south stand being filled by Hoops supporters.

This will be the second of three difficult matches as Celtic return after the World Cup as they also travel to Pittodrie and Ibrox.
