REPORTS: Celtic On Brink of Making First Winter Signing

CELTIC could be ready to make their first January signing and we’re only in November.

Reports over the weekend from Ukraine suggest Celtic are hot on the heels of Dnipro’s star striker Artem Dovbyk on a pre-contract that would see the player join January 1st. Reports have gone so far as to say Celtic have offered the young man a contract.

The 20-year-old striker who has scored 12 goals in 12 appearances for his club has signalled his intent to run down his contract which finishes on 31st December.

This means Celtic are able to approach him now with a view to securing a January move.

The young striker has garnered a lot of praise in Ukraine and even managed a call-up to the full international squad lately.

Should Celtic entice the frontman to come to Glasgow he would add to the options Celtic already have but would surely spell the end for Edouard who has seen very little game time since joining Celtic on-loan.
