Celtic’s provisional squad for today’s Glasgow Derby tie has been released by RecordSport.
If you read our site regularly you will know the pool of players in the squad can change or differ slightly on the day.
However, there’s a huge omission from the Record’s provisional list of Celtic players – Callum McGregor.
Right now, we believe this is most likely down to an error on the Record’s part. There has been no noises from Celtic about Callum being out of action. Hopefully, it’s not foreshadowing.
The big rescissions away from that is if Kyogo will start the tie against the Ibrox side. The Japanese striker hasn’t started a game since Boxing Day last year. If he’s fit enough, we may see Kyogo for an hour or so of football.
Matt O’Riley is pushing for a start after his great second half performance against St Johnstone. It’ll be interesting to see who Ange goes with.
