Celtic have posted a major boost for supporters on Friday morning with images of both Cameron Carter-Vickers and Alistair Johnston back in full training.
We knew both were on their way to a return but Friday’s images confirm no setbacks and two bhoys who look like they’re ready to return.
CCV has struggled with injuries most of the season and it’s vital we manage his return to the first team with care to make sure he can see out the entirety of the run in.
Alistair Johnston has been missing for a couple of weeks due to a head knock. If he’s had the all clear we’d expect him to go back into the side. He has been training alone to make sure he’s kept up to speed while nursing the head injury.
Celtic play Motherwell on Sunday with no room for error in the title race. The hoops need win after win, anything else will see them relinquish the title. Both being back is a major boost.
