Celtic Price Midfielder Out of Immediate Parkhead Exit

Celtic’s summer rebuild continues to take shape, with wide players firmly on the recruitment radar as Brendan Rodgers looks to freshen his attacking options ahead of the new campaign.

The Hoops are actively pursuing at least two wingers during the current transfer window. Michel-Ange Balikwisha has long been touted for a move to Parkhead, with the deal described as being ‘on the verge’ for several months now. However, despite ongoing links, it remains uncertain whether the Belgian will ultimately make the switch.

Such arrivals would naturally spell the end of the road for some current squad members, and Luis Palma is one player the club are now prepared to part with. Sources have told Celtsarehere that Celtic have attached a £3 million price tag for the Honduran international, who they are willing to offload if a suitable offer materialises.

Interest has emerged from both Major League Soccer and Mexico’s Liga MX, but they are unwilling to meet Celtic’s valuation. The 25-year-old’s future remains in limbo as the club looks to balance their squad ahead of another demanding season.

Since arriving at Parkhead, Palma has made 48 appearances, scoring 10 goals and assisting the same number. Despite being under contract until 2028, the club appear ready to cut ties if they can recoup a fair fee.

With movement expected on the flanks in the coming weeks, Palma’s situation could develop quickly – provided one of his suitors are willing to meet Celtic’s asking price.
