Celtic Prepared to Cash in on £4million Midfielder

CELTIC will look to move Stuart Armstrong on this summer if the player won’t sign a new deal.

The midfielder only signed a one-year contract extension last summer to leave his future up in the wire again this time around.

Celtic fans were desperate to see Stuart stay last year and while they were slightly annoyed he only signed a short extension – fans were ultimately glad he didn’t leave.

This summer it’s a bit different.

After a massive loss of form and injuries, The midfielder has been no where near his best for Celtic.

This has left many fans with the opinion, if the former Dundee Utd man doesn’t want to be here then Celtic should cash in.

With the rumour about some Premier League interest, it’s possible Celtic can still get a decent amount of cash for Armstrong.

Ideally, Rodgers has said he wants to keep Stuart but the Irishman knows himself that it’s not always going to be possible to hold onto everyone.
