Celtic romped to a 4-1 victory at Rugby Park on Sunday as goals from Kyogo, Daizen Maeda and Matt O’Riley secured yet another three points for Ange Postecoglou’s men.
The Hoops blew away their opponents, Kilmarnock, in the opening stages and Derek McInnes’ side never seemed to recover from the early blitz.
In the opening half hour or so, Celtic were on song and impossible to deal with.
Kilmarnock striker Kyle Vassell recognised the Bhoys’ formidable quality post-match, saying they are a ‘cut above’ and of Premier League standard:
🗣️ “They are a cut above. [Callum] McGregor’s so good, he’s so good at football.”

In the short clip, the Northern Irish international also stated how good a footballer Callum McGregor is and how difficult he is to deal with.

The Celtic captain didn’t have his foremost afternoon in Ayrshire however was still heavily praised after the match, along with his side.
In terms of acclaim, it is becoming more and more regular these days for Celtic from their opponents.
This is testament to how talented and first rate the Hoops are becoming in their football that has led them back to the pinnacle of Scottish football. Long may it continue.
It’s not usual for opposition players to praise Celtic. Mostly this season we’ve seen rivals moaning and making excuses rather than throwing their hands up and conceding Celtic is on another level.
