Celtic TV official account posted some great footage of Coolio at Celtic Park five years ago after the American rapper’s sudden passing this week.
The Gangsta Paradise singer once famously took to the Celtic Park pitch to do the windfall, not only that, but he took part in an interview with Celtic TV.
Coolio had come along with Celtic fan Tommy Sheridan, the pair meeting in a version of Celebrity Big Brother years ago. As guests go, Coolio was thoroughly entertaining and he lapped up the applause track side. If my memory serves me right they had to rush the rapper back to his seat for the game because he lost track of time.
During his Celtic TV chat, the singer proclaimed he’d brought the ‘Gangsta Paradise’ to the REAL Paradise.

Coolio sadly passed away at the age of 59 in Los Angeles. Our thoughts are with those closest to him.
