CELTIC are among some of the clubs that are interested in bringing Calvin Ramsay to the club on loan once he completes his move to Liverpool from Aberdeen, The Mirror Reports.
However, Jurgen Klopp isn’t planning on offloading the player when he arrives, so any potential loan offer Celtic make will likely be dismissed.
Ramsay, still with Aberdeen, is set to complete a record-breaking transfer to Merseyside after a financial package was agreed upon this week.
The 18-year-old shone in the Dons side this season, attracting the attention of Liverpool. After featuring 33 times, the Scottish player won the Writers’ Young Player of the Year award.
In all honesty, I think Celtic’s name has just been thrown into the article. Celtic already have two top right-backs with the club, Josip Juranovic and Anthony Ralston; there is no need to add a player to this current set-up.
While looking to add defensive players, I don’t think Ange has any plans to add a right-back this window.
